Frank Galli
USMC Scout Sniper | Founder of Sniper's Hide
Frank Galli brings unparalleled expertise in precision marksmanship to MLSC25, drawing from his distinguished military career and two decades of leadership in the long-range shooting community.

As a Marine Corps Scout Sniper with 1st Battalion 2nd Marines, Galli served during critical operations including Operations Earnest Will and Praying Mantis with MAGTF 2-88 in the Persian Gulf region. His military experience provided the foundation for what would become one of the most influential careers in modern precision shooting instruction.

In 2000, Galli founded Sniper's Hide, which has grown to become the premier online community for precision rifle shooting. What began as a forum has evolved into a comprehensive educational platform featuring instructional videos, podcasts, and in-person training opportunities that have shaped an entire generation of long-range shooters.

As an instructor, Galli is renowned for his practical approach to marksmanship fundamentals and his extraordinary ability to communicate complex ballistic concepts in accessible terms. His teaching methodology emphasizes field-applicable skills over purely academic knowledge, focusing on wind reading techniques that work in real-world conditions rather than theoretical scenarios.
Galli is also an accomplished author, having published "Precision Rifle Marksmanship: The Fundamentals - A Marine Sniper's Guide to Long Range Shooting," which has become essential reading for serious precision rifle enthusiasts. The book distills his decades of experience into a systematic approach to mastering long-range shooting skills.

His commitment to the sniper community extends beyond commercial interests. In 2019, he hosted "The Gathering" in Denver, bringing together the USMC Scout Sniper Association and Army Sniper Association to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing between these elite communities.
At MLSC25, participants will have the rare opportunity to learn directly from one of the most influential figures in modern precision marksmanship, benefiting from Galli's unique insight into course of fire design as he consults on this year's competition stages.
